FMU Valle de Guadalupe

About this project

Commemorating the harvest season with a vibrant and striking identity that positions the valley as a premier winemaking destination.

FMU is an annual event celebrated on the eve of the grape harvest season, taking place between August and September in Valle de Guadalupe. Since ancient times, the harvest has commemorated the first grape picking of the season, marking the beginning of a prosperous and abundant cycle. For the event’s identity, we drew inspiration from the concept of motherhood, choosing red as the dominant color—a hue that evokes passion, love, and abundance, while also being striking enough to attract tourism and capture the attention of Mexican wine enthusiasts. To strengthen the visual identity of this event, we developed a graphic system of copywriting and illustrations that reinforce its message. Additionally, we invited artist Monserrat Piña to create a piece that would activate the event’s contemplative spaces. The installation, titled El Nido (The Nest), serves as a welcoming refuge, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the valley’s natural surroundings while enjoying a glass of wine in great company—offering a brief escape from the hustle of everyday life. The installation was crafted using reclaimed wood found on-site, which was revitalized through paint and design, transforming it into a dynamic structure for visitors to enjoy during their time at the winery.
